Description:The Conceptua® Math Student App is the full student version of Conceptua® Math. Students use this app for their daily, in-class lessons. The first product in our emerging K-8 math curriculum is Conceptua® Fractions, designed and built around the Common Core State Standards. This breakthrough program uses a wealth of visual models to develop students’ cognition as it progresses from concrete to abstract representations. Our first iPad app is Conceptua Fractions.Conceptua Fractions curriculum consists of 9 Big Ideas or units organized into 144 lesson sequences. Each lesson sequence includes Guided Lessons for independent student work and mathematical investigations. Using the iPad app, students will complete their assignments, use online tools for mathematical exploration, and view their progress.Each district, school, or classroom teacher must have subscription licenses for Conceptua Math in order to use the iPad app. Conceptua Math licenses are controlled by school administration. Use of the Conceptua Math App requires a wireless connection or mobile data plan.
What's New
Version 1.0.1 contains a few minor enhancements and bug fixes:- Improved layout of the home screen, tool chooser screen, and a few of the tool screens.- Improved reliability of playing movies within lessons.- Added a "downloaded so far" progress bar to the in-lesson movie player.- Updated lessons to match those in the web version.- Changed the login failure message to indicate that the iPad may not be connected to a network.- Fixed a bug where the app might hang if the user responds with "no" to the "End Existing Session" dialog.- Fixed bugs associated with the display of the activity name and problem number.
